Pike sexing / id

I got these as Venezuelans and I was told two were female and one was male. I just want confirmation so I can maybe breed them. Recently two have been getting very aggressive and I was wondering if it was a male and female pairing off. Here are some pics, but let me know if you need better ones and I will try.

These guys (assuming venezuelan) seem to be really hard to sex. I have yet to see one that totally conforms to the "norms" expected from either sex. I have two myself. One of them has been sexed differently every single time I post pictures of it, depending on the coloring its showing at the time.

They look just like the pikes I've got that I got as venezuelan, so I'd think that's what they are, but I don't really know the differences between venezuelan/strigata very well.
