Hi ...so im looking at pike had one in the past and loved it . Ok my tank its 200 gallon with wet dry and 2 Fluval G SERIES filters and a 8 pound BASS so what im asking is what would the best species to have?

I would go with a pikeral. Pikes grow pretty fast so that 200 isn't going to last long

Deffinately a chain pickerel but make sure you have dithers in or you could have problems between him and your bass.

Hello all...
I am new to this forum but not to fish keeping. I currently have A 90 gallon housing some fast growing Vieja synsilum and Hypsophrys nicaraguensis. These are new to me but they a neat fish to watch grow. My Viejas are no where near the humped head stage, but is there away to see from external signs which are make or female? They range from !.5 to 3 inches in length.

I got a 1 acre bass pond if it does I'll get a bigger bass but I really want a musky

Northern pike are a vary high speed fish that need lots of room to swim. They will get banged up on the glass. I think you would need at least 1000 gallons to keep one comfortable.
