A little place called C At Hell
I posted this in the Aquatic Disease section, but didnt get much for the info or suggestions.

One of my pike has torn the tissue which connects the upper jaw to the rest of his body. There are two very large holes in the tissue, and he's breathing heavily. Does anybody know of a way to keep him alive, or if there is simply nothing to do?

Its a peaceful species of dwarf pike, so I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but he's extremely weak. I took cell phone pics of the injury, but they arent good enough quality to tell anything.

His mouth has been protruding for a couple days, and I thought maybe it was just stuck and figured it would go back to normal.

The holes in the skin are large enough to look down his throat while holding him.

I have separated him from the rest of the fish, and am looking for medicine that might help promote growth to re-attach the jaw.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
