PIKES AND BICHIRS

has any one ever try pikes with bichirs, the tank size is a 75gal growout, i have a 4'' ornate and was planning on getting a lacustris or sveni

a sveni is a pike, im talking about birchirs with pikes

im guessing he meant 6 bichirs. and not 6 pikrd.

i kept my senegal with a sveni sucessfully. i know the ornates get bigger so a lugubris species pike might work better.

I used to have a pike with my old Bichirs also in a 75 gallon tank. I believe it was just a regular pike chiclid though I forget the specific name. It was about 5-6" long and was kept with a 9" Senegal and a 7" Delhezi.

Never had a single problem, in fact, they usually ate together.
