Pikes and Peacock Bass

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Right now I have 3 monos and 2 tems. I also have 1 Black Aro. Which pikes should I look at to add to the mix? The Pbass and Aro are only about 5 to 6 inches right now. The tank is about 600 gallons with a wet/dry filter that holds around 75 gallons of water.

Go with any of the Lugubris group pikes, try to stay away from cincta though as they genearlly are too aggressive. Marmorata, lenticulata, sp. 'venezuela', tapajos red, sp. 'cobra' are a few that have worked out before...but not the limitin pikes. Johanna would even work. Main thing is to stick with Lugubris group pikes and stay away from Saxatilis..as they will stay a good bit smaller.

try it, all you need is hideing spaces and start the pikes at the same size at should be good definitly in a 600g tank :headbang2  search for a p[air of cobras or a pair of lents maybe they will mate.
