What pikes would be good for a 90 and where could I buy some or even better a young proven pair? I have sveni's now but can not find a female and the only lfs around here that gets them only has them on a very infrequent basis and I really want to breed pikes. On top of that they are starting to get aggressive towards each other so I am going to have to get rid of them. I really like belly crawlers and as I said before I want to breed pikes. Also no dwarf pikes please. I am looking for pikes that get in the 10 - 12 inch range. Also that is all that will be in the 90 is a single pair (once I get a pair that is).

your best bet is going with a saxatilis species pike. they generally get around the 10" mark. finding established young pairs is going to be somewhat difficult. best bet is usually to get several juvie pikes and then hope to get a male and female that pair up.
i believe sharkaquarium has a breeding paid of lepidotas that are still in the 6inch range. i believe they already spawned once.

I have always liked lepidotas and from what I can tell they are going to stay about the size i am looking for. Does any one know where I can get 6 - 8 very small juvies or a young pair? I looked at shark aquarium but i did not see a pair listed and i see the leps they have listed 7' and 6" but I want like 2"-4" so I can watch them grow and get a pair. Also how do I get in touch with rapps. I have seen his name several times and I would like to see what he has.
Well I found rapps site and got in touch with him and I think I am going to get a pair of frenata from him tomorrow.
