hi i have a 38 gallon that i am trying to stock. i am wondering what kind of pikes could i potentially put in there. I'd like for fish 10" or less. any help will be appreciated.

i'm thinking 2 or 3 of those and maybe a top dwelling fish. rocket gar? african butterfly if i could find one?

also what are some species of dwarf pikes? do you have a picture thanks

careful with the rocket gar idea, or better yet scrap it. I had a 4 incher that grew to 8-9 inches in about 4 months and ate a rope fish about 3 inches longer then he was (threw most of it up later). The african butterflys are a much better idea for a tankmate but do not get them until the pikes are large enough to not be eaten (only dwarf pikes i've seen sell at about 1-2 inches long, butterflyfish which i have never seen under 4 inches would eat them right up) wait until the pikes are around full size before adding butterflyfish.

i didn't know rocket gars get that big. and i don't believe i've ever seen a pike for sale. i hope i get lucky today.
