Pikes that aren't uber aggressive + grows around 9"?

Topic. Just wondering what my choices are.

I must emphasize that what i'm opting to find is one that is not too aggressive to tankmates.

most saxatilis pikes will be in that range. cr. lepidota, cr. lucius, i find that the sveni's will get bigger than 9".

I've found all my pikes to not be uber aggressive unless there in a tank with another pike. or another uber aggresive cichlid. i have a mayan cichlid that doesnt want any tank mates and the pike is the only one that would stand and fight.

otherwise ive had all my pikes get along with other cichlids and characins even when some are as small as 3 inches. sometimes you get a super mean and aggressive pike but i think more often you'll be able to find one that will get along fine with lots of other fish

Menezesi Pikes are pretty and they aren't aggressive. Mine are pretty mellow.

I've got a menezesi, supposedly it is one of the more peaceful saxatilis pikes. It's doing fine with a larger GT in a 75 right now.

Crenicichla sp. Pacaya is the calmest of all the pikes I've bred. They're gorgeous too! You can't go wrong with them
