Hey guys..

What do we know about these guys, how rare are they? I saw them listed at 250-375 $ that seems very, very steep.. anyhow.. i stumbled across 3 of these guys 7-8" and picked them up for roughly 30 $ a pop..

Very entertaining little critters..

My questions are really..

1. will they bother a 14" tigrinus?
2. Are they or have they ever been rare enough to cost 250-375 $
 
I picked one up in Australia a few weeks back for $250. It has to be 20cm easily.

I was told they are rare to find in the hobby, mainly because they are becoming rare to find in the wild.

Not sure about the Tigrinus, but these guys are very, very fast.
 
I saw them by me for $45, this was the first time I saw them.I started a thread and some said aquascape had them for $25.
 
I saw them before for 30 but they were small and we were a ways away from my tank lol, very cool looking catfish :3
 
Allright.. thank you guys.. they are pretty rare over here and i just needed some input.. i highly recommend them.. adorable little guys..
