Pimilodus Blochi loves my ID Shark

I think my pimilodus blochi is in love with my irredecent shark.

He follows him everywhere and rubs his whiskers on him and they both sit together on the bottom of the tank.
Before we got the ID shark, the pimilodus hardly moved from his cave, now they're both always out.


Is this normal?

Could be the dither fish effect. Hard to say what's normal what's not. Certainly this is harmless. It is an interesting behavioral observation. It cannot be some kind of normal "shoaling" but stranger things have happened.
