pimpin a female convict?

so i have a female convict that just bred with her male partner but i also wanted to have her breed with my male red devil. dont hate on hybrids please because i assure you they wont get out and around and are for my own personal hybrid.

so 1st can they cross convict X red devil
2nd will the female be ok being taken away from her partner and introduced to the new one
3rd should i use eggcrate to breed the convict and the RD together since the red devil is quite larger and more agressive

Convicts being a CA Cichlid can breed with any other CA Cichlid like your Red Devil and get fry. The whole challenge is getting the two to pair. How big are each of them?

female convict is about 1 1/2 inch long and male convict is 3 inches and the red devil is easly 6

The female is guaranteed to end up as food for the devil. I wouldnt try it.

He might not even recognize her as a mate for a long time if at all.
