Pimple on a fish's face

I have a male flowerhorn that started out with his lips poking out now he has devoloped pimples that break open and makes a sore. Can anyone tell me what this is. I have been treating him with melefix and marclyn 2. I take him out of the water and treat his sores with an antibiotic. Sorry about the spelling.

check those water parameters especially nitrates

Use Furanase right away. They kill very quickly and happened to two of my cichlids. The ones I had were red pimple like sores that eventually spread throughout the entire face region and made the head swell up. Kind of scaryy

I think that it sounds like furunculosis, an Aeromonas infection (a gram-negative bacteria),
Furanase or furan-2 are good, so is tri-sulfa.
