For those of you who own or have owned Pinima. How do yours feed? Are they aggressive or passive feeders. My Pinima came out for the fist time this morning and really attacked the food. He normally just hides behind the rootwood and waits patiently for the food to float by. I like this feeding behavior much better.

Maybe he's just more comfortable now i have only had him a week today.

I got 3 pinima right now. Mine rush right to the top when they see me near the tank. I would say that they are agressive feeders.they might just have to get use to the tank. what are you feeding them?

Frozen chopped shrimp, squid, brine shrimp, bloodworms, beefheart, and FD krill. I think its just him settling in more. Gonna have to get him a buddy.

Yeah they are better when they have some buddys. mine love krill, brine shrimp, feeder guppies. yeah once he gets use to the tank he will be fine.

very aggressive feeders same as tem...got one big one about 18inches and 4 small one about 4-5inches....eats everything...

I got my first Pinima in a shipment with my Orino they were in the same tank and only about a .5" difference. but with the difference in body shapes the Orino was bigger. The Pinima only lasted 2 days so now this one is in a seperate tanks until their sizes are comparable.

yeah i got 2 orinos with my 3 pinima they get alot fine. I was surprised because the orinos are like 1" bigger.
