Fish continue to grow for the length of their lives. They do not grow to the size of their tank. They stop growing when they die. With that said, the longer you can keep it alive the bigger it will get. In the case of a Pinima keeping it alive will require a healthy varied diet, consistantly good water quality, and a nice BIG tank. Yes they do get as big as Tems.

I thought Kelberi got no larger than 18" usually. Is there anyone w/ one larger than 20"?

My Pinima are 23'' -/+ inch. kelberi 20''-24''. I do beleive a fish can be stunted as mentioned before diet is key.
