So I saw this pink arowana in my lfs the other day. I love the look of it and was considering getting it but then the possibility that it was dyed that color occurred to me. I don't know all that much about arowanas, so I figured you guys could tell me if this is actually some sort of rare natural coloration or if this is just a poor fish that got stuck with a needle and will lose his color over time.

I've never come across this colouration , its fins on second pic look like those of a black aro , hopefully some resident aro experts will pitch in and help you out :D any help guys ?

Def. Dyed...my lfs just got in 2 dyed aros lastweek for $70 a pop and one looked very very similiar to these pics. One was a "strawberry" and the other a "blueberry". Cant say i didnt feel bad and want to save them but i also didnt want to support the dying of aros buy purchacing one. My lfs said he just wanted to see if they were dyed or not but thats not helping the cause lol...
