i read somewhere that if the belly of the stingray is pink thats not good... well my motoro is 5 inches and the middle part is pink but the outer parts is the same color as the top. is this normal? this is my first stingray so i dont know much.

yeah pink is a sign that their underside is agitated by rough gravel usually, indicating broken blood vessels i believe. smaller rays usually are a bit pinker though...

ooo. by the way im using play sand bought from homedepot. i dont think thers any silicon in there.

Play sand is ok....But it is very, very, very dirty......try pool filter sand if you want the same color and less dirt  Not much more either....

Younger rays will have a little bit of pink coloration to their belly. It's pretty typical.
If it stays thay way as it grows, I'd look at either changing the substate or looking for a source of a bacterial infection.
