pink convict eggs...

just got eggs today from my pink convicts. how long till i get wiggler, when should i start feeding, what should i start feeding, should i put the fry out???
thanx in advance this is my third post about convicts sorry if im being anoying...

Should take 3-4 days for them to hatch. I fed my convict fry when they started swimming fairly well. Fresh Baby Brine Shrimp is best for fry, but crushed pellets/flakes will work just as well. Convicts are excellent parents. Let them take care of their young. Its fun watching them too. Congrats and good luck.

took my fry away after 3 weeks, i agree, great fun to watch, and they are wonderful parents. breeding pair in mine fend of channel cat (8-10 inches) jdempsey (4-5) with no struggle at all.and that was only their first batch that successfully hatched

I feed my fry Hikari first bites, but I have found that Cons tend to be better parents to their fry than we can.

egss were laid on tuesday and its thursday and we have wigglers and she is pulling them off the clay pot and moving them into a hole under a rock. pritty cool to watch them
