Alright, here is a better side view of my Male Pink Con. I'm hoping that there is no RD/Midas in him (due to maximum size concerns), but love him either way. Thoughts on him?

that is crazy i have never seen a male con with red on its side . you sure there aint no firemouth in it. or idk y but it poped into my head when i looked at the first pic is it possible that just like the body pigment how it lightened that the strip gene was strong enough to also lose pigment but not completely so part of the stripes stayed and turned red as a affect of pigment loss. because i swear un the first pic i am seeing 4 orange red stripes nere the back of him

I don't think its pure convict. I think its rd X con based on the odd placement and amount if orange being a male. body is very RD like too. Or Could be very inbred

Also its not short body

Don't want to hijack but would like some feedback on a similar fish. Same fish in both pics. I couldn't get a good one of my female. I've had then both a couple of years. The male lobbeloves to breed with all the female convicts that I have but few have made it to adolesence. I gave a pair to my dad and he has about 100 juvenile pinks.

I am thinking could be a hybrid-RD x con or a true a. Siquia.
True a. Siquia are often mistaken for HRPs but they are more like cons then HRPs. They grow to the same size as cons, have the same body shape, but have orange on their sides. Even makes have a lot of orange. They are very rare, and way more colorful then cons.
