pink female convict and male firemouth

It's happened, and I've heard the fry are pretty ugly. I'm not sure how rare it is, but it can/does happen. It happened in my Classroom's aquarium.. a 29g, the Female was a Con, Male was a FM, but the fry became free swimming the 2nd to last day of school, to I never saw what the fry looked like in-person.
i was trying to get a FM and a JD to breed. anything is possible. you just have to see. i finally gave up and get a female JD. now my male wont stop struttin his stuff. and they swim together non stop. but good luck and post pics of the fry if it happens

ok so ill try it tonite. the male firemouth is about 2 almost 2.5 inches and is the boss of 2 other firemouths hat are 2 inches dunno if i ahve a female firemouth in te 3 i have tho. so wish me luck
ther i ahve 2 flower pots and 3 rosey reds in teh 15 right now tell i get the 20 but has 1 female pink con 4 inches and three 2 to 2.5 firemouths
I'm no Mr. Firemouth, but I'm pretty sure 2.5'' is too small for FM's to be fully mature. I could be wrong, though.
1.you fm is not mature, 2. how do you know its a male3. if they do breed and they can what will you do with they fry?shops wont take hybrids off you? i thought the whole idea you getting 6 now 3 fm was to breed them?
