hi, i have a pink kisser gourami which was doing really good for quite a time, now about 2 days ago has been chasing the other fishes, what can i do to stop this?? get another pink kisser?? any suggestions?? :nilly:

Kissing fish are on the agressive side so to avoid harrasing the other fish get him a mate so they take their agressions out on each other. The will still chase the other fish from time to time.

Yea, I don't know how to sex them, but they can be really agro. My friend had one that wiped out his tank.

Sometimes rearranging the decor will help subdue aggression (at least for a little while). I usually use this technique when adding new fish. It confuses already "claimed" territories that have been previously created by the existing guys and sort of creates a clean slate for everyone to re-establish a "new" territory.
Glad to hear he calmed down though.

thats what i did when i got my new cichlids, the firemouth had been living in my tank for a few months so i didnt want him to think the whole tank was his, i switched around the pots so they were very different from before and there is no aggression at all, all those dang fish think about is eating lol.
