Pink ray

Is anyone elses Ray pink on the bottom. Really pink. Can even see the veins going thru the body...
Just on the bottom.

The bottom can be a litle pink, but not red. BUT, this goes for youths, and also, the glass in the aquarium can trick you a littlebit, atleast it does here.

Can you share a picture so we can get a better idea of what you are talking about?

How old is the ray? How long have you had it? How are your parameters? What substrate are you using?

never mind, wife said she has always been that way.

Could have been a long term problem you know. Just saying...if it's always been like that, then im assuming the ray is no longer smaller, then having a pink or red underside is clearly an indiciation that there is a problem.

we have had her for 3 weeks. she is about 6" around. Still young.

as long as it is not red, it is normal.

she is in a 250 gal tank, alone. Was in our 150 gal tank till two days ago. it had sand and no tank mates. Now she is in her own bigger tank, no sand, no tank mates. nothing on the bottom of the tank. no heater, just can filter and bubbles.
well take that back, she does have ghost shrimp in with her. but thats it.

ya, not red, just pink. just never noticed it as much. Guess its because she is in all glass now and it shows more.

Yeah, it's normal. My 9'' Motoro (this is what yours is?) is pink and has been for as long as I can remember.
