pink tail chalceus - 5inch x2 housed together

ok, looking at buying 2 pink tails chalceus.
housed together since they arrived at LFS.
5 inches now after 2 to 3 months of being there.
housed together

planning on putting in a tank 1200 litres.

think its ok to put two together?
if they been housed together?

when they arrive in the LFS here, usually 2 to 3 inches
its been there 3 months
think the growth is stunted?
or just ok?

they should be fine together, ive seen them together before with no problems.
there growth has probably slowed in the lfs. when you get them home in more space, better water management, better feeding ect they will probably grow abit better.
