pink-tailed chalceus jumped out of bucket...

ummm... were moving and he was in a bucket with plants and things to hide in... we didnt think to cover it....stupid i know im sorry... well we went to get the stand for the aquarium were gone about 30 mins. dont know how long before we got back he jumped out...bucket was half empty didnt even cross my mind he could jump that high.. well we found him on the floor. i thought he was dead but when i picked him up he flipped out. i put him in the bucket immediatly and put some melafin on him but hes still really lethargic and kinda floating around the top.. any advice i could use to make his recovery more probable. please dont hate or bash on me i already feel horrible about it and i am new to the aquaria world and come here to learn to be better thanks

Not much you can do but hope for the best. If you have jets, pump alot of oxygen to him. gl.

so pinky is back to his good ole bashful self now. thanks for the advice. other that a little fin damage he appears perfectly fine.. i is a happy!!
