Any thoughts on ID? I've had him for a while, and always thought tem. Dee eng Dee eng informed me I was wrong. Is everyone in agreement? Thanks in advance.

Well Azul it is. Funny enough, I've been on the lookout for one of these because I've always seen them look like this. More grey than brown or green. Think I might be holding on to him now. Could I expect to see him lose his spots as he matures?

Looks like I now have to call the ID of my other bass into question as well. I've believed mono. Am I wrong?

Yes the azul will loss most of its spots and will turn out just like the more adult one you posted up. That other bass looks like a mono or some hybrid of one.
 
Yeah the 2nd one stumps me a bit too. Probably a hybrid of some kind. But I'm not an expert on monos
