red belly piranhas, in great shape too. it's unusual for them to have no nipped fins at that age

Piranha for sure. Easy to tell the difference. If the lower jaw sticks out further than the top its Piranha!

Definate Red Belly Pygo..............I spawned a pair a few years back when I was bad..............I had about 300-800 fry per batch........The pair get really black when ready to spawn..............They dig a ditch in the gravel, forming a pit................The eggs hatch within 2-3 days..........The pair whatch and gaurd the fry for untill they swim.............I siphon out the fry right when they hatch and raise the batch in a seperate 55g................
