Piraiba Growth?

any know the growth rate on these fish? i know they get to 12 feet and over 450lbs, im asking how fast they grow

i think it'll be hard to say coz those numbers are prolly taken from the ones that were caught on their natural habitat and a fish like that aren't really known to be kept captive or at least reach those sizes coz even if we try our best, we cant imitate the amazon no matter what. neeless to say, their growth rate will be relative to their surroundings

grow fairly slow. about 8-10" a year seems to be the max. was supposed to get mine saturday but had some complications and can no longer get it or the jau......
