Good morning,

My Piramboia SAL is with this disease.

It would be a fungus??

I'm using MelaFix.

Could anyone help me? She start to improve and then turned these white spots. Is eating very little.

She is in a hospital aquarium.

Temperature: 30 ° C
ph: 6.0

Follow the picture ..... if someone can help me thank you, the forums of Brazil, nobody could tell me what it is.

:welcome: to MFK!

What are the decors in your tank?
What other fish did you keep with it?
Is the hospital tank barebottom or with sand (as indicated in your pic)?
What do you normally feed her?
What are your water parameters?

It looks like a wound to me. No fungal infections there yet but you'd need to swab it with iodine solution (betadine) if this is open flesh wound.. Do you have access to Biobandage or neosporin?

In the meantime, add sodium chloride at a teaspoon per gallon. Add another set in the next 12 hours. Be sure to dissolve salt first before adding. It'll keep bacteria and fungus at bay from latching into the wound. Remember to redose salt per water volume changed when you do water changes.

You are in a hospital tank, 55 liters without any decoration, and without substrate, with only one external filter.

PH = 6.0
Temperature: 30 ° Celsius

You are alone in this tank, I am so far using only the medicine MelaFix, friend and unfortunately do not have access in my area to drugs that you mentioned.

I am very worried, she had improved, but again it appeared like.

Had she scratched in a trunk that before the tank?

Already thanks, and sorry for the mistakes in writing, do not speak English and use a program to do the translation.
