Just read the legality thread for piranah. Anyone know how to obtain a permit to keep piranah in Colorado? A link to the correct athority perhaps?

If you read my reply on the last page of that legality thread, you will see the actual regs laid out by the division of wildlife. You can keep piranhas in colorado without a permit. If you want to see for yourself, go to the dow website.
I have never had a problem with keeping piranhas. I actually had a DOW officer come into my house (had to sort out a waterfowl stamp issue) and he was amazed by my old redbellies. He wanted me to help him set up a tank of his own!

Thats Mikes Killer Fish he is a vendor here as well. Also Golden Fish on colfax seems to have red bellies quite often.rkrum;1587818; said:
