I read this article a while ago.
Such stories and pictures really do enforce the possible damage piranhas can do.
Just because your piranhas may whimper in the corner while your doing tank maintenance, it does not mean one of them will not take a test bite or defensive/offensive bite out of you!
Indeed, but that bite could have been a lot worse and had worse consequences.
So you were right to expect worse...
Normally, it is rare to have a piranha attack a human. But when that rare case occurs - man does it look like it hurts!
Indeed i recall that topic as well.
I guess monster sizes do not please everyone’s thirst in the hobby these days.
Big teeth, big appetites and big bad temperaments appear to be on the up lately.
So with that increase over time, i am sure we can expect more stories like the one RuXPiN has given us the link to.
I just hope that such fish and monsters fall into the adequate hands. For both hobbyist safety and the monsters.
i did that same thing once actually, "brutus" started flopping in the net, didnt want him to jump out and hit the floor, instinctivly put my hand over the top of the net, he flopped to the floor by biting a huge hole in the net instead of my hand.
