Here is a pic of the issue. I have added some aquarium salt. What should my strategy be? He was fine last night!! Quarantine? I have 10 other healthy piranha in 185gallon...

can you see if its a battle wound? what're the water parameters? add salt and up the temperature, if it's nothing serious should heal up soon. if its caused by bacterial infection then you might have to use med (ie. melafix, try to get the professional strength one, 64oz, 5ml treats 50g intead of the 5ml for 10g ones. this way you won't waste money on it) if salt alone doesn't improve it.
here's a link for information on salt and dosage.

I dosed with salt last night upped temp. This morn another one had the same thing on his eye. Lfs didn't have professional melafix went with regulardid dosage now they all look pissed off at me and arefighting is this normal?

could be caused by water quality, do more frequent water changes.

Stock up on prime. Do 50% water changes daily til its gone.

Won't a daily water change of 50% stress them out more and mess with parameters? Till the nitrates are gone or the cloud eye? I use prime. I do a weekly water change of 40% already.... I've just heard varied opinions on nitrates, that up to 40 is ok, then some say it MUST be at 0 at all times....my ammonia is always at 0 nitrites always at 0 PH has stayed at 6.8 for a long time etc....
