Piranha help

I have a 150 gallon tank and I cannot decide what to put in it. I am thinking about Piranha's currently. Are there any Piranha only web sites? I was thinking about 5-6 Piranha's...can I also add tetra's/barbs? What about Catfish? Crayfish? Crabs?

It really depends on the individual fish. Every fish has its own personality. I have been able to keep Exodon Tetras, Pleco and Crayfish with my 5 Red Belly's. I have a friend who has 5 and he can't keep anything with them. We got them from the same batch, so you never know. Just don't put anything that you like in there, cause eventually....................
 
i wouldn't do any more than 5 of any type of pygo in there, if it was me

the reason i wouldn't is becuase with 7-8 pygo's such as red bellies in a 150, i belive that they wouldn't get above 8", and being that i like big p's, i like to give them as much room, as possible. so the less p's, the faster the bigger they grow. plus i think just in general 8 pygo's in a 150 is somwhat crowded.
 
dude, screw prianhas.. they are a scared fish.. you'll never see them eat unless you turn the lights out.. get something like peacock bass, they are fun to watch and have funny personalities.. if not that go with some sort of pike.. african pike are awesome.. i would say get snakeheads like me but they're illeagle now, damn government.. but f*** piranhans.. you're welcome for the advice, dick
