I saw 2" red bellied ps in my lfs and i was wondering how many if any can fit in a 29? I am very excited about them and i was wondering what you guys think. I am 15 and kind of on a tight budget so I dont want to buy a bigger tank.

1. quit making new threads, give people time to respond.

2. If your going ask questions and not give enough information than we have to ask more questions?

What kind of pirahna is it?

But in my opinion a 29 is too small for all pirahna they would have no room to swim.

no redbellies in that 29 unless you plan on upgrading. which you dont so no rbps at all. see the other thread for some suggestions.

i have 3 rbp in 30 gallon tank, current sizes are 5-7 inches, when i recieved them 3 months ago they were only 2-3 inches. they are feed ALOT. with them in a smaller tank it will require more frequent cleanings to keep your nitrite and nitate levels, down. also have heard that pirahna may crack a glass aquarium due to swimming into it. good luck with them and maybe in the future you may want a bigger tank.
