I was just curious I'm aware piranhas are illegal in NY but if someone crossed the bridge to NJ and baught piranhas and came back would that be okay or would it still be illegal?

P possession in NY is illegal without a permit. Transporting an illegal species across state lines, without permits, is considered trafficing and is a felony.

Those 2 names are not species. Those are the Genus names and they contain all species within each genus.

i think they are indeed illegal in NY, but i still see them in various LFS.
