My juvenile RBPs got used to their environment and they're not skittish at all (except when I turn on the light)

Problem is that I think they became to bold. In fact, they approach whenever I come up to the aquarium. Furthermore, when I put my hand against the wall of the aquarium one of them approached it thought it was food. This was right after feeding them.

Will they bite me when I put my hand inside the aquarium? In case I need to clean it or something. Thanks.

We'll first things first, be prepared, does their tank have a natural looking environment as sometimes it can have a affect as I have read. Secondly try putting your hand in the aquarium they might or might not bite you. If they do bite you get a pair or gloves and you'll be fine

Never had a piranha bite me other than a dime sized baby while hand feeding. Just keep a close eye on them and throw your arm into the tank and see what they do. Most likely they will all go hide. Dont slowly stick one finger in though because they might mistake it as a piece of food.

My last rbp were 6-8" and when adding other fish id chase them with my hand. My rhom on the other hand, terrified me. He was also very nervous around me when I was in the tank but the potential damage a 10" rhom can do is a bit diff than a rbp
