Piranha or Pacu?

Ok slightly odd one, this isnt one of my fish, but one i saw on the news this morning.

the angle isn't good for any iding, but the shape looks like a pacu.
pretty much all the piranha caught are pacus and the so call piranha experts are even worst at IDing them than us hobbyists, what a joke.

I agree thats a red belly pacu. If it was a piranha its lower jaw would be partrude out further than the upper lip.
