piranha sticky situation!

the dark abyss
so heres the story i was getting a minnow out of my piranha tank because it seemed to have black spot disease as i put the net in the water one of my p's darted and smashed into a hole in the skull i have in the tank it hit the hole really hard and thats the only reason it fit, i managed to get it out by moving the skull around and poking and proding with my fingers being careful that i didnt lose any i was succussful, the fish got off with only a scrape on its back

i would add some salt to your tank to make sure he doesnt get infected in the scrape and it will also speed up the healing process.....does he have any tank makes.....if he does please make sure u watch for aggressive behavior towards him because he is injured they may try to pick him off
 
YAH i have 3 other rbps in there but the scrape isnt big enough to worry about it dosent affect the fish at all and in terms of normal function it can swim and do everything just as good as before, BUT i might consider the salt good plan!
 
always a good idea to make sure your beloved fish are alright :D
 
Do you only have Red Belley Piranhas?
