Heres the story, I did a water change over the weekend and moved some items around in the tank. I also added a powerhead. Before this they would eat Hikari carnivore pellets every night. Now Im feeding them Hikari cichlid gold. They ate the first night and now they wont touch them. what gives?

Maybe they stressed out with all that movement in their tank, give them sometime to settle again and they start feeding again. Try some minnows.
Sometimes piranha stop eating for a couple of days even more after having a big meal that happens with mine.
Don't worry just be patient.
Just try and try with small amounts every day. once they get settled they'll feed normally again.
