piranhas getting bitey

it's been several month now that the 7 piranhas have been living with each other in a 75g tank. so far, i have been lucky since there's no cannibalism yet. however, i think my luck may be running out. one of my piranha has got bit on the back, and 4 of my other piranhas have ripped fins. im prepared for the worst but still hope that none of them end up dead.

How big are they now? A little aggression is par for the course with these guys...

it's probably because you're running out of room in the tank. you should expect more aggression as they're smaller and less as they get bigger...unless space becomes an issue

I''m assuming this is the standard 48" tank? Sounds like you need more room for them. 7x few months old piranha's (assuming they're about 4" now) sounds pretty crammed to me. If i were you either get a bigger tank or trim the shoal down.

they r only about 4-5 inch right now. getting a bigger tank aint really an option right now since im low on cash. im going to leave them be and hope for the best
