I have about 15 3inche piranhas in a 55 gallon tank. I had some dirty water problems (obviously) so I siphoned out the fish tank and replaced like 75%-80% of the water on Saturday. Ever since then, I have noticed that they don't want to eat. The fish are active and dont show signs of a disease.

I'm assuming they are stressed out but how long should I wait before I start worrying that they aren't eating?

I'm feeding them shrimp and imiation crap meat. They have always eaten this. I used to have the same 20 when they were quarter sized.

I used to have live plants but i kept removing the dead leaves, that there is barely any compared to what I used to have. I'm using 2 Whisper in tank filtration for 20 gallons.

so 2 whispers for 20 gallons equals 40 gallons. thats not enough filtration from what i have read. you need more like 200-400 esp with how many fish you have in their

canisters in small tanks, and sumps for large tanks. I would suggest liek 15% water changes daily, suprised your p's arent gasping for air. for the love of god please tell me you pull out uneaten food at least?
