My friend gave me two black piranhas cuz they were too agressive with his Angel fish so i took them in with my Discus. Im hoping my discus will have better Luck. Anyone mix these two yet?

Am I reading this right??

Rhoms with Discus???:wall:

Oh boy....:popcorn::(

YOU PUT PIRANHAS IN WITH YOUR SHOW QUALITY DISCUS?

IT'S ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM SHOUTING AND SHAKING MY HEAD.

TIME TO START WITH THE BASIC AND GO BACK TO KEEPING FEEDER GOLD FISH.

3 of my discus eyes are missing. im not sure who did it but i have Neons in there as well and in packs i heard there like Hyenas and forage for food voraciously. So i took them out and ill find out if it was them or my friends BP's . Crossing my fingers:eek:

dont be so naive. it wasnt the neons. you put a highly predatory species in with very placid show fish. if orbit is right and its rhoms then you will eventually have just one fish in the tank as rhoms are solo fish. they are solo fish for a very good reason. one rhom will eventually be killed but thats not until they have demolished the other fish first.
try not to take this the wrong way but did it not even occur to you that it may go a little wrong????
if not then you need to go back to the beginning and start reading up on fish before you torture your other fish with predatory species.
you should take the rhoms out and give them away. consider fish like rhoms when you know to read up about what your dealing with. with answers like "im keeping an eye on the. no pun intended" you either dont care or your not capable of dealing with such fish.
troll also springs to mind.

good luck.
