So i come home from work and i turn on my piraya tank.. and go play some cod4... out of the corner of my eye i see the piraya in question chasing the largest piraya around the tank! So I pause and watch and man did they go at it... They were circling each other all over the tank like a p would in a feeding frenzy.. Then all of a sudden the bigger one flicked its body really hard and they both separated...

Now my piraya has a white triangular bubble on his eye it looks ****ed... I think its his eyelid coating but i hope to God that im wrong and he can recover...

heres the vid guys.. Let me know what you think.

Geeez man I can't distinguish it good enought to tell you my "expert" opinion partner...:D

Despite, as far as it looks i thionk it could be a non serious injury and he may recover in short. Add some salt and call me in the morning....

Cheers.

doesn't look too bad, will probably heal up soon. one of my caribes had the same thing happened to it and I thought the eye was a gonner then few days later it was good as new....then few weeks later my other caribe lost an eye in a fight....

found out it's corneal ulcer and that salt will actually make it worse.. i'll be dosing melafix and hopefully it will heal up soon

I have divided the fish in question.

Hmm...odd. Anyway, goodluck. BTW amazing fish and setup!

Thanks, he's completely healed up now looking great I added him back with the back and so far no real fighting... I have lowered the temp from mid 80's to about 82F
