My wife and I recently visited her family in WV, about an hour from Pittsburg. We took a day and visited the Pittsburg Zoo. Nice place to visit. I especially enjoyed the PPG Aquarium, and the South America displays. This was the first time I have seen black rays live and in person. Simply amazing.
They also had several motoros, a pearl, and what looked like a humerosa/orbignyi.

I love public displays. :D My dream is to build a climate control gazebo in my back yards with a ray pond that looks just like that.

Interesting set-up they have that Pearl in there..

The pearl and a smaller leo (maybe offspring) were in a tank together, separate from the other rays. In the picture the pearl is resting in the front on hard bottom, looked like cement. The rest of the tank was all cobble and rock, no sand. And lots of plecos too. They didn't look too happy.
