Just wanted to show off my violet goby aka dragon goby. He's gotten so much thicker and bigger then he was two months ago. He grew about 2 and a half three inches and got a little belly going on. I feed him lionhead sinking extra small pellets and bloodworms 5 to 6 times a week with either 1 to 2 days to fast.

Nice, check the link in my sig for pics of mine, I had it for 2.5 years then come home from work one day and it was dead. I think something spooked him and it ran into a rock or something cause it was L shaped.. kinda funny but it really sucked.

It was 12.5" when it died.

What SG do you keep yours at?

Nice, healthy looking goby....I dont know why people say these are hard to take care of?

just a question.. .. are these only kept in brackish?... i would love to keep one, but a brackish biotope seems hard to maintain...

the dragon goby needs brackish water. I keep me sg at 1.010 to 1.015 in my brackish tank.

Nice, I'm acclimating my guys right now, almost done....gravity at 1.008
