as far as i know there is no way,,males start to change colour at about 4 weeks,, may take a while longer??sorry im not much help,,byw, ive had many frogs and the pyxie is by far the most interesting, get one you will not be disappointed
if it does tern out to be a male, hows about keeping it in a poly box,,the type you transport fish in,just put the lid on of a night,,they are not as vocal as the american,,
