Place to get Glass in California?

Odds are there are multiple glass shops in your local area that can provide you with half inch glass. My guess is that in general shipping adds up to where most get their glass locally.
Most of your local glass shops can get you whatever you may need. There's someone near you who sells custom glass shower doors I've had shower doors made that were 5/8" thick 6 feet tall and 36" wide and swung on hinges so no need to go to far. Also I found glass tops direct has really good prices. They are pre cut so I don't know about custom sizes but surely they have something big enough for you. They advertise free shipping. I'll probably go that route in a few months as my local shop wants a thousand dollars more.
Also GlassCages will ship and also is scheduled to be in LA on 4/1/2017. I know that is a long haul for you but it's another option.
