Placed Rapps Order

I just ordered three F1 2-3" Amphilophus sp. "chancho" and one 4-5" Wild Silver Suam Green Terror.

I am very excited to see what these "Chanchos" are all about. They are very much like a midas cichlid but supposedly grow up to and over the 16 inch mark.

let me know if anyone has experience with these

Not everyone wants a Pike! everytime. I hear they are pretty cool looking fish. Please post some pics of them. I'm really curious about this fish too.

i will work on pics, and def keep this post updated with my experiences with these fish. my hope is to have one big show male(or maybe a pair). i have a 125g tank they will be going in which is wide open with large gravel on the bottom, lots of filtration and lots of water flow. I think my growth rates should be pretty good. I will spoil these fish with all sorts of food. cant wait!

we got a Amphilophus sp. "chancho" on are order last week it was very small but is growing fast its at my cousins house and quickly starting being a bully but a very nice fish
