Placement of every ones heater?

Just wondering where everyone places their heater in their tanks?

I place mine in the middle of the tank. Also it's halfway from the top and bottom of the tank, and I put it sideways between a horizontal and vertical position. That was way to complicated to say, lol.

Just wanted to see where everyone else puts their heaters.

WERD! the only thing better would be to have it in a sump. I dream someday of having a tank with just a sump as of right now behind my 90 gallon I have
A top fin 60 (300GPH HOB) An Ac110 and the plumbing for a fluval 405 and an eheim 2215 and a UV sterilizer. I barely have enough room for all of this to fit on the back and luckily with the black background I can get away with all the intakes outlets heater etc etc

Same as you said middle-horizontal. Seems to keep whole tank same temp.

i have mines right under my spraybar, horizontal.

On my 150 gallon tank I use (2) 300 watt heaters one placed each corner. The smaller tanks, one heater on the right side corner
