Ok me and ma buddy came up with this idea for a stand. It will hold 2 tanks i hope. The bottom doors will slide out. And the one side door will swing out. The side door i will keep my supplies. And the bottom is where the sump tanks will be (thats y i drew the pipes running along there). My buddy was thinking for it to hold 2 200 tanks. Idk how we wld need to reinforce it to hold those. If u got any ideas how to fix the plan or how to reinforce it to hold the tanks. I am welcoming all ideas no matter how dumb they sound. So send ur help.:)

there is the plans they didnt come out on the post. srry i posted them twice. But lets hear them ideas.

has anyone even seen this idea? lol

Is the idea good or bad? pr while it the top 200 over do it?

Yea thats what had me puzzled. Cause i knw normal wood cldnt take the weigh. Idk if i could run metal bars on the back? for support?

It can be done, but personally, I wouldn't want 200 gallons of water that high off the floor in my house. If the first step of your plan is to come to a forum and basically say...."Hey, design this for me." then maybe you should start with something a little less ambitious.

What are the dimensions of the tanks? I don't see this working with conventional tanks, I think the top of the highest tank will be up over 7 foot. This will also be very top heavy and I hope you have put consideration into where this setup will be placed in your house, because it will weigh an awful lot with a relatively small footprint.
