alright i have a stunted red devil in a 75 gallon at 5 inches with a oscar cichlid.should i take the stunted rd and put it in the 40 gallon then take my bigger reddevil and put it in the 75.

I'm sorry to say but my short time here on MFK's and reading post from large_cichlids. I believe that he is an irresponsible fish keeper and should rethink and research better before buying fish.
alright heres the deal dont buy any new filtration for your tank. save your money and get another 75 or bigger you should be able to get a 75 and decent filter for about $215. If you cant afford a stand find a level spot on the floor. The stand can come later. do this this weekend. Until then minimize stress as much as possible. If you cant do this then take the one or probably two of the fish to the lfs and get in store credit towards the purchase of a bigger tank
