Planaria as a parasite?

Hey guys, in my new 100 I found these little worms, and I was wondering if they are Planaria and if they can be parasitic in any way. I'd be a little put off if I couldn't move my bichirs to their new home. Thanks.

They are pretty harmless, they just eat the algae and the crud leftover in the tank.

Well, it's a brand new tank, set up for two weeks. And are they actually Planaria?

looks like it. Algae grows where the moisture is in the light rays, these guys i find usually on the top of my glass.

Look at one with a magnifying glass and if it has an arrow shaped head then it is

They do appear to have an arrow shaped head and yes, they are growing just above the water line, but how did the get in my tank in the first place?
